Pop Tops
At dinner tonight, I found myself explaining what a pop top was to my 7 year old.
(pointing to my can of Coca-Cola)
Me: They used to have a ring on here, you'd pull it and it would pull off a sharp piece of metal, but people would often just throw them on the ground...
Her: they littered?
Me: yes, and since the metal was sharp, people would get cut and then write songs about it.
