  17 Things To Do When You Are Stuck at Dialysis

I'm starting a list of things to do while I'm stuck in the dialysis chair. There's no wifi available at my dialysis center so surfing the net is out.

  1. Watch Movies on my computer.
  2. Watch TV
  3. Write blog posts
  4. Write a book
  5. Draw/Paint/ other artistic pursuit
  6. Learn to play an instrument (quietly)
  7. Learn to program in a new language
  8. Read A book/magazine
  9. Take a free online course.
  10. Plan a party
  11. Learn another language
  12. Do seated exercises
  13. Build a model
  14. Cut up a magazine and make a ransom note
  15. play Video Games
  16. play Sudoku
  17. Drool/play dead.

Laugh hysterically because you got out of going to Back-To-School night at the Elementary AND Pre-School. Your poor wife had to be tortured all by her lonesome self.

I've gone through kidney failure twice. The first time in 2000, my mother donated a kidney; and again in 2008, I'm on dialysis waiting for a breakthrough in immuno-suppression medicines before seeking a new kidney.
