  Best Nigerian Scam Letter Yet

I'm guessing, because this letter had my name in it, it got through my spam filter. The way I see it, they've got to do two things to be more successful.
  1. Use proper spelling and grammar.
  2. Operate from somewhere other than Nigeria.
Here it is. Personally, I love the part about this email being "subject to law".

Dear Lamoureux,

Please view attachment in respect of late Mr. Andrew Lamoureux Fund

Please send all the requested information that will be after you have read the attachment letter proper.

Regards,

Mr. Patrick Maduagwu
(Managing Partner)

I ask myself, WWZD? (What Would Zinger Do) My guess is he'd torture the guy for a bit and then get bored. Then there's the email header...

Believe it or not, I went to law school with Patrick Maduagwu. He was a big party guy, as I remember. One night I was sitting at the bar next to him and he told me of his dreams to return home to Nigeria as a Managing Partner.

I salute you, Mr. Maduagwu. As for you Lou, why didn't you tell me you had family on the Dark Continent?

This is amazing! My husband just received the same letter from Mr Maduagwu about his deceased relative Mr Andrew Lamxxxxx. What a coincidence that there were two multimillionaires killed on the same flight! Good luck to anyone who replies to Mr Maduagwu

This is really funny, i am a girl of 16 and my long lost relative Andrew Lancaster has just died leaving me $18.5 mil... Wow... i didn't think they could scam children!

Thank you for posting this - I no longer feel dubiously "special"!

Just to let you know, Nigerian linguists and grammarians are advancing with great haste through the North American name alphabet and as of today's date, have made it to the "L-A-N-D-R-Y's. L-A-N-E...'s are most likely next...

Just how greedily depraved AND linguistically deprived are these scamsters? :-) Well! It's as easy as A-B-C

Very nice!
My deceased relative the late Mr. Andrew Langenbahn has just left me $18.5 million... I am soooo lucky!!

I've gone through kidney failure twice. The first time in 2000, my mother donated a kidney; and again in 2008, I'm on dialysis waiting for a breakthrough in immuno-suppression medicines before seeking a new kidney.
